After that was the area where the programmers and engineers. Here is where I got the chance to pay the first 10-15 minutes of one of the greatest games on ps3.
I LOVED IT! The game has a great opening. If you've seen the e3 trailer, its that. You start off from hanging on from the edge of this damn train, and climb up all the way to the top. Make your way through this level and flashback to Drake in this tropical island. He's drinking at this bar. Later on we meet two characters and Drake talks about Marco Polo.
Cut back to Drakes situation in the cold snowy mountains...
You know what I would really want to tell the rest but I only played up until Drake and the other three characters break into a museum. I was sneaking across security guards and all sorts of stuff. I'll go buy the game when it comes out. So far the game is waaaay better as far as gameplay, graphics, and the story.
I really enjoyed walking through this fine studio. They have kitchen and a nice balcony. I asked them what game their working on next. Right now its a secret but a certain hint told me that Uncharted 3 its HIGHLY likely. I didn't have a chance to play the multiplayer online. Some people who worked there were working on a few projects while most were just playing the multiplayer with everyone else. Its funny watching them play.
Its creative and fun to work in the gaming industry. I highly recommended to anyone who wishes to pursue it. Its really competitive to get into, you need experience and a great portfolio/reel to go with it. ITs also about knowing people and getting connections.
Right now I work at Threshold Animation where they worked on Bionicle the Legend Reborn. Its weird working with people who have 20+ experience and I'm this kid who's a student at college gaining work experience and learning the street smarts.
So anyways I thought I should post something new once in while but felt like posting this incase their were anyone wondering.
